CERAP UK is proud to announce a new partnership with Westinghouse Electric Company, having successfully secured a contract to carry out Radiation Protection Audits at Westinghouse sites in Belgium and Sweden.As a global leader in safe and innovative nuclear technology, Westinghouse provides nuclear power plants, fuel, automation, and services to utility customers worldwide. CERAP UK was pleased to attend the recent Regional Collaboration for Nuclear Skills Growth workshop—an insightful event focused on strengthening partnerships across the UK to address nuclear sector workforce challenges.The workshop provided a valuable overview of how regional hubs are aligning with the Nuclear Skills Plan to support skills development and workforce resilience. In particular, we explored the goals of the South West Skills Hub, whose mission is to foster collaboration in identifying and delivering measurable outcomes that address regional nuclear skills gaps. On March 18th, 2025, CERAP UK took part in a key supplier event hosted by the Wales Nuclear Forum and Diwydiant Cymru – Industry Wales in Cardiff. The event focused on opening up supply chain opportunities related to the Sizewell C nuclear power project.Sizewell C represents a major infrastructure initiative with national reach. While based in Suffolk, the project offers wide-ranging contract opportunities for businesses across the UK, including those in Wales. In collaboration with the Wales Nuclear Forum, Sizewell C is actively working to ensure companies in South Wales can engage with and benefit from this transformative project.The event featured insights from industry leaders and government representatives, who shared practical guidance on how businesses can position themselves to contribute to Sizewell C. CERAP UK met directly with the Sizewell C team to gain a deeper understanding of upcoming project milestones, supply chain needs, and procurement processes.Participation in the event also provided an excellent platform to network with key stakeholders across the nuclear and energy sectors, further strengthening CERAP UK’s commitment to contributing to the UK’s low-carbon future.

We are excited to announce that CERAP UK is now a proud member of the Radon Council. The Radon Council is an independent, self-regulatory body for the radon protection industry. It is a not for profit organisation that educates and trains professionals in radon matters. It sets standards that it expects its members to meet in any measurement, remediation and new build work that they undertake to mitigate radon risk.  As a leading authority on radon gas in the UK, the Radon Council  works closely with organisations such as the BRE and the UK Health Security Agency on radon standards – being a key stakeholder in any government guidance that is produced. As we continue to expand our commitment to safety and environmental health, our partnership with the Radon Council strengthens our ability to address radon risks and enhance our expertise in radiation protection.
